KL Cube Signs MOU with Hippo T&C for AI Sign Language-Based Digital Healthcare
KL Cube has signed an MOU with digital healthcare company Hippo T&C to jointly develop AI sign language–based digital healthcare services.
This partnership aims to create healthcare services that are easier to understand and use for information-vulnerable groups, including the Deaf community.
By combining KL Cube’s AI sign language avatar technology with Hippo T&C’s expertise in digital healthcare and data analytics, the two companies plan to overcome the structural limitations of existing text- and voice-based services.
In particular, they will co-develop a psychological assessment service that delivers the entire process—from test instructions and question explanations to result feedback—in sign language using AI technology. This is expected to significantly improve accessibility in digital environments.
The partnership will also focus on advancing AI sign language technology through joint R&D efforts, as well as collaborating on government-funded R&D and commercialization projects.
Through this collaboration, KL Cube aims to build an accessibility-driven digital healthcare model that can expand into public health, mental health, and welfare services.
