KL Cube Demonstrates AI Sign Language Avatar–Based Public Services at KOPPEX 2026
KL Cube participated in the “KOPPEX 2026,” held at KINTEX from March 25 to 27, 2026, where it showcased an AI sign language–based public service model.
At the exhibition, KL Cube demonstrated its real-time sign language translation service using its AI sign language avatar platform, HandSignVerse, which automatically converts voice or text into Korean Sign Language (KSL). The solution delivers sign language videos with natural facial expressions and gestures, enhancing communication quality.
On-site, visitors experienced a ticketing kiosk based on the sign language avatar guidance system implemented at KORAIL KTX stations, allowing them to go through the ticket issuance process firsthand. The company also introduced real-world use cases, including a QR code–based sign language guidance service developed for the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
In addition, the service has been designated as an Innovative Procurement Product by the Public Procurement Service and registered on the Digital Service Mall, establishing a foundation for easier adoption by public institutions.
Through its participation in the expo, KL Cube aims to expand the applicability of AI sign language technology and continue building a digitally inclusive environment where everyone can access information with ease.
